Chelsea Travis, RN, NC-BC

 Chelsea Travis, owner of Different Direction - Integrative Nurse Coaching, has been a Registered Nurse for 9 years. Along with seeing individual clients through her practice she also works as an RN on a Medical/Surgical floor. Chelsea's background experience includes working as an RN on a Pediatric/Adolescent Mental and Behavioral Health unit in central Iowa.  As well as long term care and Skilled/Rehab care where she managed a wide range of disease processes, with an emphasis on Alzheimer's and Dementia.  She is active in her local church and spends time volunteering at a pregnancy center as an RN and Crisis Coach. Chelsea has been married to her love, Curtis, for 10 years. Together they manage their farming operation and homeschool their two daughters, Chanelle and Stella on the family farm.  In her free time you can find her riding her horses, crocheting, gardening or snuggled on the couch with a good book. 

 

In my practice,  I come alongside others in their journey as they desire to be more active about their  health and wellness. This is accomplishment through setting attainable, realistic, and reachable goals, through this process one receives accountability and a space to explore themselves freely without judgement.  Together, we discover new ways in how this can be accomplished. I actively listen to your story, get to know you personally, and build a relationship. I follow an integrative and functional medicine approach in my practice combined with the art and science of nursing. I honor the mind, body, soul, and environment connection and  see  a person as a whole with unique strengths and wisdom. I am passionate about mental health and believe that having good mental health lays the foundation of wellness that can  be created to obtain a balanced lifestyle.

Do you know someone who struggles reaching their highest potential, managing their stress load or  meeting their desired health goals? Can you image what  their life would be like without these obstacles?  I work with individuals who want to make real sustainable changes in their life so they can feel great and be motivated to be proactive about their health and overall wellbeing.  What differentiates me from other coaches is that I can bring nursing knowledge and experience into my sessions while providing a safe space for the client to explore their inner and exterior needs to achieve their wellness goals.

 

 

This is a service offered for anyone who wants to make real changes in their life: desire to have a healthier lifestyle, want to reach their personal goals, manage their illness/disease, obtain personal healing from traumas and negative emotions trapped inside,  or add more movement into their daily routine.  Nurse coaching is designed for you to explore your life circumstances and experiences in a safe and positive space.  In our sessions we will work together  to promote your wellbeing through self care practices, deep breathing exercises, guided imagery/ visualization, deep listening, awareness practices, and aromatherapy.

Nurse Coaching Packages Available:

3 month package option: $325 (most popular package)

  • 6 nurse coaching sessions at 60 minutes (every 2 weeks) with an awareness practice

  • Updated lifestyle plan after each session

  • Accountability check ins throughout the week 

  • Access to nurse coach via texting

1 month package option: $100 

  • 2 session at 30 minutes 

  • Access to nurse coach via email 

Hourly package option: $65 

  • 60 minute coaching session
